December 16th – On the afternoon of December 16th, the "Beijing University of Chemical Technology – Jwell Machinery Special Scholarship" and extrusion equipment donation ceremony was held in the Conference Center of the Chaoyang Campus. Song Laixin, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Mr. He Haichao, Chairman of Jinwei Machinery, the scholarship's sponsor, also attended and spoke.

Lou Yijian, General Manager of Jwell Machinery (Haining) Co., Ltd. and an alumnus of the Class of 1999 from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of our university, recalled his learning and life experiences at the university, expressed his gratitude for the nurturing he received from his alma mater, and, based on his own growth experience at Jwell Machinery, introduced the original intention of establishing a special scholarship, and explained the application scenarios of the donated extrusion equipment in practical teaching.

In the presence of the attending guests, Yu Hongjie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Li Jianhua, Director of the Office of Domestic Cooperation and Exchange and Secretary-General of the Foundation, and Guan Changfeng, Secretary-General of the Alumni Association of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, respectively presented Chairman He Haichao with scholarship donation certificates and extrusion equipment donation certificates.
